This website is meant to serve several functions for members of the E* Society:

1.       Provide information about our organization and events

2.       Provide links to other helpful resources and organizations relevant to entrepreneurs

3.       Provide a forum for all members to share ideas, news, etc…

The menu bar on the left will lead you to user-generated content listed in reverse chronological order. You can also search for content.

By registering, you are able to comment on posts and add content of your own. When you are logged in, go to your “Dashboard” and click on “Add New” under posts. Be sure to set the appropriate categories of your post so that it shows up in the right place. Use multiple categories if necessary. If you think we need a new category or need assistance, please email the webmaster.

We are working to add more features to this site to make it more useful. If you have a working knowledge of WordPress, web development, and or PHP coding, we are willing to pay you to add a feature. We prefer to have UVA students provide this service as we see it as an excellent resume bullet, and perhaps the start of a new business. If you are interested, please email the webmaster. Some features we would like to add include:

1. Member Search: access the database and search by name, college, interest, member type, etc…
2. Automated Posts: Let users upload an RSS feed so that posts they submit to their own blogs are posted on ours.
3. When a username is clicked, you are directed to their “Author” page with User Profile and Photo listed in the sidebar.
4. Enable users to RSVP to events in a single click- should be compatible with EventBrite.
